On behalf of all of us here at Yarra, I congratulate our Class of 2021 on their success in the VCE this year.
Following the release of the 2021 VCE results this morning, I am delighted to announce that all students achieved their VCE.
• 67 % of students achieved an ATAR of 80 or above
• 41% or 72 students, received an ATAR over 90
• The ATAR data is the School’s strongest ever with the median ATAR being 86.9
• The Dux of the School is Thomas McIntosh who achieved an ATAR of 99.85
• There were eight perfect study scores of 50
• 18.9 % of students received a study score of 40 or above. The median study score for the year was 34
The VCE results of our Class of 2021 are a wonderful celebration of individual student success, parental support and teacher dedication in another COVID impacted year.
We are delighted with the academic efforts of the Class of 2021 and grateful of the work of their teachers. They have worked consistently well together in a particularly challenging time and our students over the years have contributed more broadly to the life of our School.
Our students come to us with their own gifts, skills and abilities and we encourage all to attempt Year 12. The emphasis in the VCE at our School has always been on achieving personal best and we are delighted with our VCE results this year and we wish the Class of 2021 all the best with their future endeavours.
